The article reveals the main functions and powers of integration bodies. It identifies the stages of political decision-making in the EAEU. It identifies the factors that contribute to the problems associated with the functioning of the institutional structure, and develops specific initiatives aimed at enhancing its effectiveness. To ensure the parties comply with their international legal obligations and minimize restrictions hindering the realization of integration goals, it is proposed to consider the possibility of establishing an interparliamentary integration body. Proposals have been formulated regarding the need to expand the competence of the executive body of the EAEU, to explore the issue of creating mechanisms for the accountability of its members, and to ensure the mandatory execution of court decisions formalized in the relevant international legal acts. To explore the article's subject matter, the author employed general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, generalization) and general scientific (systemic, institutional, and structural-functional approaches) research methods. The research was based on a specialized scientific method—political-legal analysis.
