This article examines the use of green technologies. It argues that to ensure the effective functioning of the mechanism for the formation and development of a green economy, it is advisable to use green technologies in key sectors of the national economy. In this context, the use of green technologies is linked to one of the functions of green management, and the proposed definition is "organization and regulation of activities using green technologies." It is expected that this approach will somewhat accelerate the transition to a green economy. The article presents information on Tajikistan's leading position in the region in terms of electricity generation volume and capacity, demonstrating its experience in using green technologies. The link between organic agriculture principles and the development of a green economy is also substantiated. The article presents strategic directions for the use of new technologies for generating energy from renewable sources in the country and the expected results.
