The article examines the state and prospects for the use of green technologies in the field of housing and communal services in the regions of Tajikistan. It is noted that housing and communal services are a complex multifunctional system of life support and ensuring the safety of the population, the composition and structure of which have characteristic features for each region. It is noted that the prerequisites for the development of a green economy in the regions include the need to coordinate economic activities taking into account the provision of appropriate infrastructure, which includes primarily electricity supply, drinking water supply, heating, sewerage, waste disposal and many other systems. It has been established that the modern housing and communal services sector requires equipping with green technologies and the introduction of a green economy. n this regard, for the effective organization of housing and communal services, environmental protection and forestry, significant investments from all sources, including investments from the public and private sectors, are relevant.
