The article examines the specifics of making management decisions in agriculture in the Sughd region due to climate change. It was noted that the agricultural sector, as the main source of employment and income for the majority of the region's population, is vulnerable to reduced yields, droughts, floods, soil degradation and the spread of pests. Attention is paid to dehkan (farm) households that have reduced adaptive capacity, since farmers' management decisions on crop selection, irrigation and plant protection methods, fertilization, and rational land use determine the sustainability of agricultural systems. The socioeconomic, institutional, and cultural factors influencing decision-making and the adoption of climate-resilient agricultural practices are analyzed. Barriers to adaptation include financial constraints, a lack of modern technology, information support, and advisory services. Examples of successful strategies are given: the use of drought-resistant varieties, water-saving technologies, production diversification, agroforestry and the development of non-agricultural activities. The importance of state support through subsidies, insurance mechanisms, environmentally oriented programs and the integration of climate aspects into agricultural policy is noted. A conclusion was made on the need to develop comprehensive measures that include traditional knowledge, infrastructure development, selection of stress-resistant varieties and improvement of legal norms.
