THE MAIN STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF CONSTITUTIONALISM IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Abstract

The article examines the key stages of the development of constitutionalism in the Republic of Tajikistan since gaining independence in 1991.The main stages of the evolution of constitutionalism in the Republic of Tajikistan, starting with the adoption of the first Constitution in 1994, are revealed, and the key directions of development of this legal category at the present stage are identified.The changes in the Constitution, the influence of the historical context are analyzed, and the problems and prospects associated with the implementation of constitutional norms are revealed.The article examines the adoption of the Constitution by means of a national referendum, its influence on the sovereignty and political structure of the state, the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, the impact on the legal consciousness of citizens when considering the basic law as an instrument of socialization and education of legal culture.
