The article dwells on the management of the region's labour potential, taking into account the priorities of socio-economic development. This approach is justified by the fact that it forms the basis for the formation, distribution and use of the working population. The opinion is presented that the process of managing labour potential unites objects and subjects of management and ensures the unity of their functioning. The ways to solve the problem of managing the labour potential of the region are substantiated as the formation of labor potential, its distribution and use as well.
