The article analyzes the methodological developments available in scientific publications and regulations for assessing the economic efficiency of law enforcement agencies (on the example of internal affairs bodies), including criteria for evaluating law enforcement as a factor that is interconnected with the creation of a favorable economic environment in terms of improving the quality of public services in the implementation of the administration of budget revenues. There is proposed systematization of performance indicators which includes two groups of indicators: resultative and resourse ones. It is proposed to supplement the existing methodological developments of the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies activities taking into account the implementation of the specifics of budgetary powers in the administration of non-tax revenues of the budgets of the budgetary system of the Russian Federation. The results of the study can be used by specialists of financial, audit, scientific departments of public sector organizations in practical and theoretical aspects, including the studies of the role of non-tax revenues of budgets.
