The studies of the nature of services under modern conditions are principally important as elevation of their role in world economy, our republic inclusive, is one of the regularities of world economy. Developed foreign countries demonstrate high dynamics of producing various services. The standard of development in regard to the sphere of services began to be looked upon as one of the criteria characterizing national economies, the degree of their evolution for the current moment. For the latest years this sector not being referred to priority branches of home economy has sustained cardinal changes. The authors have considered theoretical issues of transformation beset with the notion “nature of services” under market economy conditions. The gyst of the concept “sphere of services” has been explored as well. It is underscored that the sphere of services has been becoming one of the prospective and rapidly developing branches of economy.
