Abstract

The reviewers canvass theoretic-methodological and economic-practical problems of evolutionary-institutional development in regard to transport-transit system of Russia and other countries of the post-Soviet space under the conditions of Eurasian economic integration and global non-stability. It is marked that the territory of the countries dwelt on was used for effectuation of transit transportation of goods in «East - West» and «North - South» directions from times immemorial. The reviewers analyzed market advantages and drawbacks of major projects of building and modernization of communication roads‚ elicited the prerequisites of creation of crossing places of transport corridors on the territories of concrete states‚ formation of transport-logistic centres (knots). It is shown that though the states compete for the right of being such centres their common interest lies in maximal usage of the whole transport-transit potential of the region. It is necessary to pay higher attention to formation and realization of active industrial policy aimed at a creation of mighty national manufacturing and a building of communication roads for catering their transport needs. It is stressed that the work reviewed makes an essential contribution into the exploration of transit economy of the states of the post-Soviet space as a specific subsystem of the world economy.
